First and foremost, WELCOME BACK TO FANTASY FOOTBALL!
Week one is in the books and I'm excited to say there was some fantastic action. We really did have it all: surprise, letdown, intrigue, romance, and yes, even a good ol' Foster beat down :)
Let us begin!
Game 1 was a rather high scoring affair in which Johnny Haircut (Danny) jumped out to an early points lead on all of us, racking up 162. Reggie's Unruly Bush fared well, but couldn't weather the onslaught, scoring 134. Sorry Molly, you're this week's Highest Scoring Loser.
Fear naught, Barr faithful! CJ avenges his bride as The Wrecking Balls do their duty on The Lucky Pierre-Paul, and sinks Steph's week 1 ship. Good scoring was had by all. Final 127 to 116.
That brings us to Northeast, where reports of Wahl Warfare were confirmed. The Year of the Cat is in full effect as Casey rebukes Dusty's bid for a comeback. Props for being this week's Lowest Scoring Winner, catwoman! Final 119 to 108.
Newcomer Mark's Behind squeaked one out against License to Kalil. "That's what you get for moving away, Rhode!" said Mark, as the final game ended on Monday night. Close game fellas! Final 136 to 132.
Ripster is off to a solid start as well as Jack Russell Wilson took an extended stay in the Abusement Park. It'll be gauze and stitches for Benji this week! Final 134 to 97.
And finally, Foster had an uncharacteristically maladroit week, scoring 57... All that salt water is getting to to your fantasy brain! Zim City is up and rolling people! Look out! Final 129 to 57.
Great week errbody! Remember to follow @RipleysWildest on Twitter, too!
